Having completed several other fitouts in Heritage building at 45 Jones Street including Toga’s Head Office, Sheridan and Screen Australia’s head office, we were thrilled to be awarded the office fitout works for Hardie Grant Publishing on Level 7. Relocating Sydney office from North Sydney, there was a tight timeframe to procure the DA complete the works, and to allow sufficient time with the expiration of the current lease.
With a fixed budget and industry specific requirements, SPM worked closely with client and architect to deliver a unique space under budget within tight time frames. With a tenancy selected for future growth, the refurbishment has been cleverly commissioned by balancing a dynamic working environment with a quiet library showcasing Hardie Grants publishing expertise. The high ceilings have been embraced by activating structural joinery and clever feature lighting throughout the public and private zones.
While creating a modern and functional work space the heritage aspects of the building have been respected. Modern building techniques and construction methods have been used to ensure the fabric of the building has been maintained and enhanced.
